What is Connectively?
Connectively is the source-request platform that connects journalists and publishers with expert sources. Journalists and publishers post queries — questions they need expert insight on for an upcoming story — and you, as an expert, can respond directly with your answer. No pitching required.
Submit a response to a query that matches your expertise, and Connectively tracks that response through to publication.

Connectively Plans
Connectively offers a free tier and three paid subscription options:
A note on seats: A paid seat is tied to a single expert profile for the full 30-day billing period. If you're submitting insights on behalf of multiple clients or experts, you'll need a paid seat for each profile, or you can use pay-as-you-go credits to cover additional, one-off submissions instead of adding another seat.
Where Do Queries Come From?
Queries posted to Connectively are most often submitted directly to our platform from the requesting publisher or journalist. We also cross-post queries from HARO — the original, free source-request newsletter many PR and marketing professionals already know. HARO was acquired by our team in 2025, and still exists as a standalone free newsletter, but it also feeds opportunities into Connectively.
How Is Connectively Different From Featured?
Connectively and Featured are separate products built for different parts of the PR process:
Connectively is where you respond directly to journalist queries with expert insights — no pitching involved.
Featured is a separate, AI-powered PR platform for building outreach strategy: monitoring mentions, surfacing opportunities, identifying journalists to pitch, and running automated Workflows.
If you're only looking to respond to journalist queries as a source, Connectively covers that on its own. Featured is a different product for teams that also want an AI-powered co-pilot to support their PR and monitoring efforts.
Connectively opportunities do surface in Featured as active journalist requests for users who use both.
